ABOUT THE VRNCA

The Vasquez Rocks Nature Center Associates (VRNCA) is a chapter of the nonprofit organization, the Nature Center Associates (NCA) of Los Angeles County.

The VRNCA works in conjunction with the NCA and Vasquez Rocks park staff to bring our visitors the best experience, whether in our new Interpretive Center, in our classroom, with our animals, or out in the park.

In addition to putting on events throughout the year, the VRNCA also helps provide funding for care of the Park's animals and operates the Gift Shop, located inside the Interpretive Center.

The VRNCA also occasionally holds Docent-Naturalist training courses to train people to become docents at the park. If you are interested in becoming a docent or volunteer, please check out our "Volunteer" section of this page on the top menu bar.
